On 29th June, 2022 a seminar addressing LLM opportunities in Birmingham School of Law, was organised by the Placement Committee at 2.00 PM. The Seminar commenced with an introduction of the dignitaries - Mr. Paul MCollen, professor at the Birmingham School of Law and Mr. Nanajappa, representative of Birmingham School of Law and Mr. Ramesh from Edwise in presence of our principal, Ms. Pauline Priya. Mr. Paul elaborated and explained about various LLM courses offered and their significance. Additionally, he highlights the facilities available within the campus to increase employability for students. Integral aspects such as internship opportunities as well as job offers from various law firms and companies to the students were discussed. Mr. Paul gave an insight on how this course would facilitate students in pursuing their preferred career path. The team interacted with the students by answering their questions clearing their doubts regarding the eligibility criteria and curriculum of the varied courses. Mr. Ramesh further assisted by providing information regarding the application process and when the application cycle commences. In connection with the fee structure, the varied scholarship options, both institutional and governmental, available to Indian students. A detailed overview was provided elucidating the manner of approach and application to the university and preparing for other competitive exams. The session culminated with the delivery of a vote of thanks and commemorative picture of the team and students.
