Intra- College Debate competition - vox populi was organised on 29th & 30th November, 2022. The Objective of the debate competition was to expose the students to presidential debate competitions.

The Highlights of the competition
● The competition was conducted over two days with four rounds- prelims, quarters, semi finals and finals.

● The motions for prelims this house believes that ORTHODOX & ARCHAIC mindset should make way for SCIENTIFIC TEMPER & SPIRIT OF INQUIRY

● The motion for quarters being this house believes that Sustainability can only survive thru capitalism.

● The motion for semi-finals being this house believes that it is the need of the hour to bring in a UNIFORM CIVIL CODE.

● 17 participants were put through prelims of which 12 qualified for the quarters on 29th November.

● 8 students qualified for the semi finals and 4 reached the finals on 30th November.

● A Presidential debate on “the use of social media must be based on subscription basis” in the finals led to Harlton lejo of 1st BCOM LLB as the winner and Syed Ghazanfar Mahdi of 1st BA A LLB as the runners up of the event.

● The winner and runners-up were given 2000rs and 1000rs respectively. The Director, Principal and the vice principal made the event and felicitation a success with their graceful presence.
