The first event in the academic year conducted by the Public Policy Committee is an orientation for first-year students in the odd semester. Orientation for the academic year 2025-26 was taken by Asst. Prof. Akshatha Niranjana, co-faculty-coordinator for the Public Policy Committee. The Committee’s objectives and aims were introduced to students, and demonstrated the past work of the committee, as well as the events planned for the upcoming academic year. Mr. Sachin Gowda, student coordinator of the Public Policy Committee, also addressed the first-year students, letting them know of the environment and culture that the Committee aims to provide. The student and faculty coordinators of the Public Policy Committee were introduced to first- year students as relevant points of contact for policy events.
