17 comprehensive student authored papers covering all core areas of the pandemic were published as part of the SJCL Pandemic Working Paper Series 2021 edition. The launch ceremony was conducted on 12 July 2021 in the august presence of Prof. Anantharaman, Provost, St. Joseph’s Institute of Management; Fr. Swebert D’Silva SJ, former director of SJCL and currently the Rector of St. Joseph’s College; Fr Jerald D’Souza SJ, Director of SJC and Dr Pratima Prabhakar, Principal. All the papers were meticulously researched on all aspects of the pandemic: gig economies, hospital management, vaccination shortage, funeral management, companies closure and legal cases in the courts since the onset of the pandemic for efficient justice delivery mechanism and grievance redressal. All papers critically examine the policy formulations and suggest recommendations for future preparedness.
