On December 1, 2025, St. Joseph's College of Law hosted a successful campus placement drive in partnership with LegalTech Advocates, a prominent law firm based in Marathahalli, Bengaluru. Founded by Advocate Dinesh Ramachandra Reddy, LegalTech Advocates specializes in providing comprehensive legal solutions across civil disputes, property law (including due diligence, registration, and documentation), family law, divorce, domestic violence, criminal defense, commercial litigation, and real estate matters. The firm is known for bridging law, technology, and real estate, offering innovative services to clients in Bengaluru and beyond.

This collaboration underscores SJCL's commitment to connecting students with leading legal employers, fostering opportunities in non-litigation roles within dynamic firms like LegalTech Advocates.

A total of 16 SJCL students expressed interest in the placement drive. Following an initial screening by the Placement Cell, 5 students were shortlisted to proceed to the interview stage.

The assessment began with an online test evaluating computer typing speed and accuracy, designed to gauge essential skills for legal tech and administrative roles. This was followed by one-on-one interviews conducted by LegalTech Advocates' HR team, comprising Ms. Rubeena D and Ms. Madhuri Kalaburgi (HR Assistant specializing in recruiting, talent acquisition, and payroll activities). The HR representatives were highly impressed with the caliber of SJCL students, noting their preparedness and professionalism. Based on the interviews, 4 students were invited to the next round, held at LegalTech Advocates' office the following day.

Out of the finalists, 2 students were selected to join LegalTech Advocates' non- litigation team. These students will commence their professional careers at the firm upon graduating from SJCL and completing enrollment with the Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) later in 2026.

This placement drive highlights the strong alignment between SJCL's curriculum and the evolving needs of the legal industry, particularly in areas like legal tech and real estate law. LegalTech Advocates continues to expand its team, with recent openings for junior advocates and associates in litigation and non-litigation roles, emphasizing opportunities for fresh graduates.
