In his address Justice Kolse Patil said that without the principles of justice,secularism, equality democracy cannot be achieved.The three principles aptly capture the spirit of the Preamble of the Constitution.A strong and independent judiciary is the backbone of a thriving democracy. He emphasized that the contribution of Dr B R Ambedkar in protecting the rights of the marginalised sectors and the minorities cannot be played down.He condemned the idea of manuvadi that promotes suppression of the marginalised communities.
