Independence Day

The NSS Cell of St. Joseph’s College of Law, Bengaluru organized a solemn and spirited celebration on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August 2025. The event brought together students, teaching and non-teaching staff, administrative staff and maintenance staff in a collective expression of patriotism and unity.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Ms. Violet Crasta, Librarian along with the Director, Principal and Vice-Principal accompanied by the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the campus with pride and reverence. This was followed by a series of patriotic and cultural performances by students, reflecting India’s vibrant diversity and the enduring values of freedom and service.

Ms. Akshata Niranjana, Assistant Professor in her address emphasized the significance of independence as a continuing responsibility towards the nation’s progress. The faculty coordinators appreciated the active participation of students and staff, acknowledging all the students for their dedicated involvement in organizing the program.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of light refreshments. The celebration served as a reminder of our shared duty to uphold the ideals of unity, peace, and service to society.
