Environment quiz organised by the ELCJ

Environment law and climate justice committee (ELCJ) organised the second edition of the quiz on 19 November 2025 in the AV Hall. Over 36 teams across all the classes took part in this battle between brain and brawn with the first round as an elimination. A questionnaire comprising 30 questions with topics ranging from oceans to aquatic life, flora and fauna, exotic and endangered species, concrete jungles and man animal conflict matters were explored. With the top 6 teams making it to the finals, the thirty minute prelims round was quite a serious work by all the teams. The finals was comprised of three rounds with Prof. Edwin being the quizmaster for the day. Round one was on Indian herbs and ecosystem, round two focused on space and celestial objects and round three on rivers and water bodies. Top six teams battled it out and while they couldn't answer, the audience stepped in for bonus questions and won some sweet goodies. After an hour and a half of intense answering and strategising, three teams emerged as winners with the first and second place bagged by second years and third place by the third years.
