St.Joseph’s College of Law had taken an initiative to conduct dental camp in collaboration with Bangalore institute of social science under the guidance of Dr Sakshi and team and Global concerns India under the guidance of Mrs Sharmili and team.This collaboration was fruitful for various dwellers. On 3rd December , 2021 STUDENTS OF SJCL& Global concerns India met the Corporator of LR Nagar and took permission to conduct the dental camp. Location arrangement was made at Samudhya Bhavan near Indira Canteen, LR Nagar, Bangalore-560047.

Vimala Mary.A, GM Samrat Nikhil, Shreya PS, Shreyas Gowda, Punith and Vaibhav spent roughly three hours at the location spreading awareness regarding the camp under the guidance of our Director Rev Jerald D’souza SJ Principal and Mrs Pauline Priya along with the faculty coordinators Mrs Lincy Joykutty and Mr Raj Kumar R. On 3rd December, 2021 we went to the location and gave them awareness about the camp that is being conducted on 5th December, 2021.

On 5th December, 2021 the camp started at 10am. Ms Harshitha, Medical team of Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences created awareness about the oral hygiene among the slum dwellers. When the camp was going on students had performed the street play to the members who came to attend the dental camp to talk about the relevance of education. Refreshments were provided to all those who availed the benefit of camp. Children and adults were given awareness on how to maintain their dental health. Almost 294 people had been to the camp. Those who had dental health problem received Dental Concession card that should be taken to Bangalore Institute of social science so that they can get treated there. The doctors answered all the queries asked by the localities in. Presence of director and Principal ensured to organize the camp efficiently and effectively
