ADR Committee organised an orientation programme on 9th December 2022. The Resource person was Adv. Ayantika Mondal and her team from Prime Legal. The Resource person stressed upon the “Problems and Prospects looking to the future”. The Resource Person enlightened the participants on the following areas: -

2. Litigation and ADR
3. Common characteristics of ADR
4. Importance of Resolution Mechanisms
5. Advantages and limitations of Arbitration and Mediation
6. Brief on conciliation
7. Activities based on mediation
8. Conclusion

After concluding the session participants questioned the Resource Person for clarification and the vote of thanks was rendered by Ms. Ishtisham, Student Co-Ordinator of ADR Committee. Take Away: Students were able to get an introductory idea about what are ADR Methods and what is the idea behind such a concept. The resource person also had shared his practical experiences which help the students to understand the concept in detail.
