Advocate Lomesh Nidumuri, partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and head of the Disputes Team South India, conducted a session on converting internships to placements. The primary theme of the session centered around how students need to differentiate ourselves and go against the grain of the expected norm. Continuing from the above point, he highlighted the fact that students from NLUs and other top law colleges may have an advantage by way of reputation of the university, however, it is not conclusive proof of their competence and emphasised on the need to find one’s passion in the field of law, spoke of the importance of being confident both as interns and associates.

The session later segued into a question and answers. In conclusion, the session was extremely in helpful as students definitely felt a sense of confidence and clarity with respect to how to approach future internships and use their time wisely.
