Submissions

We invite you to send your manuscript to the SJCL Law Journal. To ensure that we meet the twin requirements of quality and quantity, the editorial board will consider Articles, Essays, Book Reviews, Commentaries and Responses on a rolling basis.

Please ensure your manuscript meets the submissions guidelines:

Review

The editorial board will follow a blind peer-review on all submissions.

Style Sheet

All submissions must follow the Harvard Bluebook citation format (20th edition).

Word limit:

Full papers should be between 3500 to 6000 words, including citations and references.
Essays should not exceed 4000 words
Book Reviews, Commentaries and Responses should not exceed 2500 words

Originality

The editorial board encourages authors to use a variety of methodologies and analytical tools to bring out the best in their submissions. It is incumbent on the author/s to ensure originality is maintained and plagiarism is verified.

Format

All submissions should be addressed to research@sjcl.edu.in and must contain an abstract of 150 words along with a short title and author credentials.
