Remembrance of Fr. Stan Swamy

On 15th May 2025, in remembrance of Father Stan Swamy, a remembrance event was held which commenced with a soulful rendition of John Lennon’s "Imagine" and then a brief introduction into Father Stan Swamy’s remarkable life. The heart of the event was a skit titled “Letters from Jail: Justice for the Forgotten”,portraying the lived realities of undertrial prisoners, with a particular focus on tribal youth.

Following the skit, a short documentary film was screened. In a fitting musical tribute, the music team performed John Farnham’s “You’re the Voice”, echoing the message of the event—to stand up, speak out, and fight for those silenced by systemic injustice. The performance deeply moved the audience and reaffirmed the collective responsibility to carry forward Father Stan’s mission.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
