The Legal Aid Committee on the occasion of Women’s Day conducted a Health Camp and Legal Awareness programme at Vijayapura from 5th March 2024 to 7th March 2024. The students of our college took part in the Health Camp organized by Center for Non-Formal Education (CNFE), Vijayapura In addition, the students performed a skit/streetplay, highlighting the issues regarding child marriage, atrocities against women at conjugal home, role of Legal Services Authority in mitigating the same etc. Also, a stall was put up wherein posters, banners were displayed highlighting the legal provisions available for women to fight against various kinds of injustices meted out at her. The compatriots of that village visited the stall and posed certain questions, which were clarified by the students of Legal Aid Committee.
