As part of a week-long World Environment Day observance, the committee was blessed to have Ms. Eisha Krishna, Partner, ELDF as the keynote speaker of the webinar on “Challenges to and the future of environmental and climate litigation in India”. The aim of the webinar was to gain a nuanced understanding of several aspects of environmental and climate litigation in India and unravel the scope and career opportunities available in this area.

The thought provoking and exceptional talk by the keynote speaker enriched more than 300 attendee’s knowledge who were part of this webinar and deliberated upon several enactments, statutory bodies, rights, real life events and experiences related to environmental law. It not only motivated to pursue environment litigation but also helped in instilling a sense of obligation to find a solution for the present day environmental and climatic crisis.
