On 15th May 2024 the legal service clinic of St Joseph’s College of Law, Bangalore in association with LVK organized Women’s day program in Mundgod. It was headed by the director of St Joseph’s college of Law, Bangalore, Fr Jerald D’souza SJ and the directors of LVK Fr Anil SJ. The main objective of the program was to conduct women’s day program and sports day for them.

On 14th 2024 May the students reached LVK campus and had a meeting with the members of LVK and Fr Anil. They discussed the schedule of the entire program and in-charge was given to the respective person. Later, the material for each stall game was segregated and the prizes for each stall game and group game were segregated. The hall, entrance and stage were decorated and the selfie stand for the women was fixed.

On 15th May 2024 the arrangements for the stalls were made early morning. The entire campus was displayed with legal awareness banners. 12 stall games and 11 group games were conducted on a whole. Around 1000 women had come. After their registration was done they were allowed to play 7 games of their own choice for free and win exciting prizes. Simultaneously group games were being conducted for all the women. 3-6 women from each self help group were allowed to participate in each group game. The winners of each game were given exciting prizes. The sports day was inaugurated by lighting of the sports torch by the chief guest. Once the sports day was over, the official program started. The official program was inaugurated by the chief guests and the leaders of the self help group. Then the chief guests addressed the women on their rights, which were followed by an entertaining program. The day was ended by the drawing of winners who participated in the lucky draw.
