In order to mark the beginning of the celebration of Ecotopia 2024, the Environmental Law and Climate Justice Committee and NSS committee organised an awareness and cultural event on World Environment Day. It began with a group performance by the music team of the college, who performed a medley of songs about nature and conservation in vernacular languages of India. It was then followed by speeches highlighting various environmental issues and possible initiatives that could be undertaken to combat these problems. In addition to this, the committee put up interactive posters all over the college, asking environmentally-conscious questions for the students and teachers to answer.
