It was headed by the director of St Joseph’s college of Law, Bangalore, Fr Jerald D’souza SJ and the directors of LCSC-Manvi Fr Don Prem SJ. E-shram cards registration is a step towards providing financial security to unorganized workers in India.

It provides access to social security schemes, financial assistance and skill training program. Ayushman card is an initiative by the central government to help weaker sections with medical aids and facilities. The paperless scheme provides cashless medical cover of a maximum 5 lakhs. The people who have migrated are not able to avail proper medical aid due to financial constraints; hence this medical camp was conducted to do the basic health check up. The camp was conducted in JMJ Hospital in Nagavara. Around 50 people assembled in the school. Around 21 E-shram cards were made and 25 Ayushman cards were made.
