Seminar on Career in Commercial Litigation

The Corporate Law Committee of the St. Joseph’s College of Law organized a seminar on “Career in Commercial Litigation” on 9th February 2024. The session was headed by Mr. Rajeev Rambhatla, Partner, King Stubb & Kasiva. Mr. Rajeev is an experienced advocate who specializes in corporate and commercial litigation.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Ivin, Faculty Coordinator and Student Coordinators, Joshua Joseph N, Srijan Lama and Anvita BS of the Corporate Law Committee. The workshop was conducted for all students of the five-year degree and the three-year LLB degree.

The session mainly dealt with an insightful overview into the field of commercial litigation. He further elaborated upon the various legislations and courts which govern the field of commercial litigation in India. He was also able to create a clear line of distinction between working as a litigant, an in-house counsel and as an associate at a corporate law firm, offering valuable insights into each career path.

The session concluded with a Q&A session with Mr. Rajeev that enabled students to seek clarifications on various aspects discussed during the session. After the session, students were requested to fill a feedback form pertaining to the seminar.
