As a part of the college's internship programme, Mr. Lomesh Nidumuri, partner Indus Law, addressed the students on the 16th of October 2018. An alumnus of the New York University School of Law, Mr. Nidumuri was able to bring to the forum 15 years of rich work experience. Students were reminded that internships are invaluable in building careers and in developing work ethics. The importance of understanding the fundamentals of law and internship procedures was emphasized by the speaker. Mr. Nidumuri urged students to explore different internship opportunities through the course of their college years so as to develop career preferences. In doing so, Mr. Nidumuri also expressed his desire to see more law students explore litigation opportunities. Internship stints would be better served if students made the best use of classroom lectures, legal commentaries, digests and biographies of legal luminaries, explained Mr. Nidumuri. On a personal level the speaker attempted to reassure students by relating his own experiences as an intern. He urged students to be confident and disciplined in their interactions with internship firms. The importance of writing a concise CV was reiterated by the speaker, in the concluding part of his address. Mr. Nidumuri concluded the session by addressing a few questions from the audience. The lecture was organised by the internship committee of the college.
